Jarkko Antila appointed as the new Reaktor Space Lab CEO

Mr. Antila is an experienced deep-tech start-up entrepreneur with solid track record on product development, fundraising and leadership.

Reaktor Space Lab has announced the appointment of Jarkko Antila as their new CEO, effective April 1, 2021. Antila brings a wealth of experience in space and measurement technology, having previously led technology teams at INFICON Ag and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Oy. He was also a member of the science committee for Finland’s first satellite, Aalto-1. 

Antila co-founded Spectral Engines, where he served as CEO  until the company was fully acquired by Nynomic AG in 2020. He has since been acting as a deep tech business consultant at his company, Leaping Boulder. 

Previous CEO and co-founder, Tuomas Tikka, will take on the CTO role and continue to lead tech development and space missions.
